This fire occured on South Street just before dawn. Firefighting efforts were hampered by high winds and a lack of water (this area has no municipal water supply). Mutual aid tankers were called in from neighboring Millbury and Oxford Fire Departments. Thanks to the quick actions of a passing motorist, the family with their 5 month old triplets escaped without injury.
